授業方針・テーマ |
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Cells are fundamental units of life. This introductory course will provide students with core concepts and definitions in cell biology, which are stepping-stones to more advanced courses in other fields of biology. |
習得できる知識・能力や授業の 目的・到達目標 |
COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of this course, students will be able to describe (1) basic structures of a typical cell (2) functions of each organelle and (3) how genetic information is expressed. Students will learn to actively search for questions that help deepen their understanding of the subject (Active learning attitude/能動的学修姿勢), synthesize knowledge obtained from various sources to answer the questions (General ability of problem thinking/総合的問題思考力), and logically discuss the questions among peers during class (Logical thinking ability/論理的思考力). |
